Get to Know Dr. Steve

Affectionately referred to by patients as Dr. Steve or simply Steve, our practice’s owner prioritizes making everyone who visits our office feel like family.

He takes pride in helping his community smile wide by offering a host of treatments, including root canals, veneers, limited orthodontics, and beyond. This minimizes the need to refer out to specialists. Establishing a continuity of care paves the way for Dr. Steve to build lifelong relationships with his patients from the moment they step into our dental office in Albuquerque.

Dr. Steve maintains that the mouth is the gateway to whole-body healthcare and uses this sort of holistic approach for treatment. He spends countless hours studying and taking continuing education courses that explore the mouth-body connection to ensure his patients are educated and empowered about their overall health.

Journey to Compassionate Dentistry

After completing an impressive Biology and Chemistry dual major, Dr. Steve pursued dentistry to best channel his desire to help people — a quality he shares with his mother, an OB/GYN in the area. He appreciates working with patients and seeing them and their families grow up. “It’s been fun,” he says.

Soccer and Other Recreational Activities

Outside of being a dentist, Dr. Steve loves the outdoors and really enjoys sports, including soccer, golf, tennis, and snowboarding. He played soccer growing up and continues to play today. He also coaches his children’s teams.

Family Life

When not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Janel, and their two young children, Camden and Parker.
